A PARAGRAPH ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

 SWAMI VIVEKANANDA  

   Swami Vivekananda was a monk with a patriotic spirit. He was born at simla in North Kolkata on 12 January, 1863. His early names were 'Bile' and Narendranath. He was restless and spirited from his boyhood. He did his degree from a college now known as the Scottish Church College, Kolkata. This time he met Ramakrishna at Dakhineswar. The meeting brought a change in his life. He became a monk and took the name Vivekananda. He travelled all over India on foot. His speech at Chicago made Hinduism Known to the world. He founded the Ramakrishna Mission and Mutt at Belur. He was a man of letters. His works inspire the youth of India. He passed away on July 4, 1902 at the age of 39 only. So it is said 'Whom the gods love die young'.
