 SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE 

 A little boy, Subhas Chandra Bose, babe fair to be a great patriot in the future. He was born on 23rd January in 1897 in Cuttack. His father, Janakinath Bose was a well- known lawyer of the city. Little Subhas loved 'Bandemataram' song in boyhood. He was sent to an English school when he was five. He did not like English ways of that school. He liked Indian culture and learnt to love the country. India was not free then. He always dreamt of India's freedom. He was admitted to Ravenshaw Collegiate School. Here he drew the attention of Benimadhab Das, the headmaster and became his favourite. In his school subhas  led his class to observe 'Khudiram-Day'. Morning shows the day. Boy subhas became a great leader in the future. He is now known as 'Netaji' who thught us 'Jay Hind'.
