Science and Superstitions
Science is the systematic explanation of the physical world. It unfolds the truth of the world, examined scientifically. Science stands for rationality. It has almost relieved us from the evil cast of prejudices. Superstition is the belief, not based on reason or scientific knowledge. It includes the ideas of magic, omens, witchcrafts. Superstition comes into existence when people fail to explain the natural phenomena like earthquakes, cyclones, any epidemic etc. Superstitions have mostly died away in civilised life today. But in many parts of this universe, specially in villages or remote areas, people still believe in superstitions for the lack of proper education. Science is the greatest antidote to the poison of superstition.
