POLLUTION
pollution is the gradual poisoning of the ideal environment. Since the Feudal Age, forests are destroyed to produce
ploughlands and towns; since the Industrial revolution, factories and automobiles have been releasing toxins to both the air we breath and the water we drink. The main criminal in today's world for pollution is the rapidly growing urbanisation and consumerism. Pollution increases with the rise in production which is connected with the growing need of people. The results of pollution are seen in the increased amount of toxic gases, in the growing mortality rate of all marine and land animals and in outbreak of heart diseases and cancers. Along with the application of modern science, the spread of literacy and environmental knowledge is also necessary to stop pollution in its tracks.
